  1. I would like to try this, but I don't have a square canvas and they're really really expensive at the nearest art store. Would this work on a 16×20 canvas, and if so, do you recommend painting with the canvas vertically or horizontally? Thanks!

  2. your energy and positivity is contagious! I love It. I made a feeble attempt to try to mimic this with a spin you'd be proud of. today marks 6 years my Pappaw had been gone and my mother (in the hospital) asked for a painting. she asked for a frozen lake with a house in the back. thank you so much for your sharing with the world yourself and your good given talent.

  3. I TOTALLY know what you mean. I'll look at something on amazon and google will LITERALLY bombard me with pictures of that item everywhere i go on the internet….absurd LOL

  4. Thank you so much for the great instruction. I enjoyed painting this picture although It certainly didn't come out as good as yours since I am a beginner. Lots of fun with this video.

  5. Hi I am from South Africa and following your tutorials now for a few months. I just want to thank you for the interesting you tube videos. Your paintings are awesome. I already painted a few.

  6. Your video was 3 hours long! OMG! And 3 quarters of it was a waste of time because of your non-stop talking and all the camera shots of you instead of the canvas and palette! Come on!

  7. Thank you, love the painting. Love your positive wishes for everyone. All these years I have unloaded my negatives on canvas. You have made me reconsider my whole creative process. Smiles

  8. Super! Your version looks like the group of 7 in Canada. I love it. You seemed like painting it without any effort.

  9. Hi Cinnamon – I am new to the tutorial and I am loving every minute!  You are so talented and a brilliant teacher!  I have just took early retirement and am taking up painting again!  I have almost completed this awesome winter scene!  This is my first Landscape!  Although i have found it difficult – i have enjoyed following your instructions.  Thank you – I will be following regularly!

  10. Acum am descoperit aceasta pictura realizata acum aproape trei ani.Trebuie sa-ti spun ca este foarte frumoasa. Iti multumesc ca ma inspiri.La mine este primavara dar am ramas cu nostalgia de iarna.TE FELICIT SI TE IUBESC PENTRU TOT.

  11. So my question is…. Is it gonna make a major difference if I don't do that distant scenery in the background? I'm having an issue of just making mud in the sky and not having enough experience to do it justice. Just wondering before I continue. It's beautiful BTW. I'm really enjoying your winter landscapes, thank you for all you do!!

  12. I've chosen this study as my Christmas card for this year and sending it to those I love the most. I'm also going to add wishes of good health and happiness by writing on my canvas before painting. I think it's a lovely thing you do and I don't feel guilty for stealing that idea. Xx

  13. Wow! I loved this! Thank you for taking the time to paint this scene and demonstrate such wonderful layers… I am definitely doing this one.
